AI Adoption Starter Sprint

Help Your Team Start Using AI for Useful Everyday Work

A focused 30-day engagement for department heads who want their teams to begin using approved AI tools in practical, low-risk ways while the larger organization continues developing its broader AI plans.

The starting point

Your Team Knows AI Could Help. They Still Don’t Know Where to Begin.

The larger organization may be discussing AI strategy, governance, tools, and technical priorities while individual teams continue doing their work much as they always have.

Department heads are often left with practical questions about what their teams can safely try, which uses are worth testing, and where technical support is required.

  • Which parts of our work could AI actually support?
  • What can we safely try with tools that are already approved?
  • Where are we losing time to repetitive work?
  • Which ideas are useful enough to test?
  • What requires support from IT, security, legal, or technical partners?
  • How do we help experienced employees build confidence without overwhelming them?

Who the sprint is for

Department Heads and Team Leaders Ready for a Practical Start

The sprint works best when the team has defined day-to-day responsibilities, access to approved tools, and a leader who will support thoughtful testing.

  • Operations and administrative teams
  • Member-services and customer-support teams
  • Finance and HR teams
  • Professional-services teams
  • Departments in larger organizations that are waiting for enterprise AI support
  • Small and mid-sized organizations beginning to explore AI

The 30-day sprint

AI Adoption Starter Sprint

Current-Work Review

Brenda reviews the team’s responsibilities, recurring tasks, communication needs, manual processes, and common bottlenecks. The conversation focuses on work such as drafting, summarizing, organizing, documenting, reviewing, planning, and administrative support.

Use-Case Selection

Together, you choose a short list of potential uses connected to the team’s real work. Each idea is considered for usefulness, risk, available tools, employee readiness, and the need for technical support.

Team Working Session

The team works hands-on with selected use cases using approved tools and clear boundaries. Familiar work gives employees a useful place to build skill and judgment.

Supported Implementation

Employees test the selected uses during regular work. Brenda follows the early implementation, answers questions, surfaces obstacles, and helps the leader understand where the team needs more support.

Next-Step Plan

The leader receives a written summary of the uses considered, what the team tested, what worked, where more support is needed, which ideas require technical review, and the recommended next steps.

Why Brenda

Leadership and Operating Experience Behind the Sprint

Brenda brings more than 30 years of leadership and operational experience to AI adoption. She understands how work moves, where breakdowns occur, and what employees need when a new approach has to become part of everyday practice.

She has led six offices and six managers, managed a $3 million budget and approximately $900 million in annual sales volume, served on the senior leadership team of a 30,000-member statewide association, led two association-owned for-profit subsidiaries, and designed leadership-development programs for 12 years.

I bring that same operating lens to AI adoption, helping teams choose uses that fit the work they already do.

Give Your Team a Useful Place to Start

Bring the work your team handles now, the approved tools available to them, and the questions you are hearing. Brenda will help you determine whether the 30-day sprint fits and what the engagement should cover.
